A video of Brian "BB" Knight gifting bibles to his teammates on the Lamar University basketball team has more than 300,000 views, but Brian does much more to share his faith through his collegiate basketball career. He has played basketball since he was three years old, but during his time at LU, has used his social media platform to spread the gospel while posting his basketball highlights. "It's constant ups and downs in basketball as well as your faith and just life in general," the business entrepreneurship major says. While Brian may not consider himself a vocal person, he makes sure to share his faith with the platform he's been given. "I just feel like with the way that God has worked in this past year of my life, I'll be doing myself and God a disservice if I didn't share that," he says. The Houston senior says that basketball has grown his faith even further. "I've dealt with a lot of injuries since I played basketball, so I was trying to fill that void with worldly things, and it just never worked," he says. "I was at my lowest, at the bottom, and God pulled me out of that."
