Lamar University held an Earth Day celebration in front of the Brooks-Shivers dining hall, April 22. Several organizations such as LU’s Green Squad, ExxonMobil and Texas Parks and Wildlife performed community outreach at the event.
Students participated in planting trees, as well as receiving food and goodie bags.
