Applications to be a candidate for Lamar University Student Government Association positions, open Feb. 15 at 8 a.m. and will close March 5.
Students interested in running for office can apply on LU Hub. A link will be available on lamar.edu/sga when applications open.
“I think anyone who is interested in being a voice for the student population should fill out an application,” Maissa Salibi, SGA election commission chair, said. “It's a chance to represent the student body, and to hear their concerns and advocate for their concerns — SGA is a great way to do that.”
