The Department of Recreational Sports, in collaboration with Cardinals Activities Board, will host “Spookapalooza,” Oct. 23, from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center.

The event will feature a Halloween costume contest, pumpkin carving, s’mores and crate stacking. The organizations will provide food and prizes for the costume contest.

Intramural Sports will host Halloween themed games including table tennis, air hockey, 8-ball pool, and big ball volleyball, with the ball decorated as a giant jack-o-lantern.

Jason Harrington, coordinator of intramurals and sports clubs, said that the event will be safe, sanitized and socially distanced.

“We are going to have a nice, safe environment for everyone, and a lot of fun and a great time,” he said.
