The editor reserves the right to reject or edit any copy submitted for publication.

News stories, articles or free notice do not accompany any advertisement.

Position is given when possible, but never sold or guaranteed.

The publisher is not responsible for copy, omissions, typographical errors or any unintentional errors that may occur in an advertisement. Liability of the publication is limited only to the amount of space consumed by an error. All advertising is accepted only on this basis.

Advertising that simulates editorial copy shall be bordered and have the word "ADVERTISEMENT" displayed in the ad. The University Press reserves the right to insert the word "advertisement" in all ads.

Political advertising is sold at the open rate and must be paid cash-in-advance. This provision is applicable to individual student political advertising as well as off-campus political advertising.

Advertising copy and confirmation of advertisement size must be received by the University Press ONE WEEK prior to desired date of publication.

Advertisers may cancel an advertisement in the University Press up to five days prior to the desired date of publication without being held liable for payment. Advertisers will be liable for payment for all advertising canceled after five business days prior to desired date of publication.

Composition, photography, and artwork produced by the University Press become the property of Lamar Student Publications, and may not be used or reproduced without written consent of the Director of Student Publications.
