Deadline for submitting announcements for LU briefs is noon of the day one week prior to publication. Priority is given to upcoming events. Announcements listing appointments of officers and members of organizations will be published as space permits. No exceptions. Brief forms are available for organization reporters in the University Press office, 200 Setzer Student Center.
Be sure to include the following in your submission: Date of event, time, where, who*, and briefly tell us about the event or story idea.
- *1. Identification of Lamar students must include name, hometown and classification.
- 2. Identification of faculty must include full name, academic title and department.
- 3. Identification of non-faculty and non-students must include name, address and applicable title.
Alternatively, you can download the submission form in PDF format. After you have printed and filled it out, bring it by the UP office in the Setzer Student Center.
